School holiday trip to Bandung 2015 .... Mbtsholiday

This is my first experienced using services from Mbtsholiday in Bandung . Its all started with an advertisement in one of my previous blog posting about our holiday in Bandung . Contact the company focal  person Mohd Tony via Email regarding the quotation for their transport and driver . He quote me the price , a Suzuki Elf that can cater for 12 persons and a driver to suit my requirement for 5D4N . Negotiate the price for some discount  and  finally we agreed on the final price , with a promise of promoting his company ... so here we are !

Touch down in Bandung , our driver from Mbtsholiday , Pak Adri patiently awaiting us due to our flight re-time . He greet us with big smile and warm welcome . 1st impression , he is nice guy and very polite . And that's true ,  through out his service , he is very friendly and helpful plus treat you very well with his good ethical driver and act as unofficial tour guide .

A compliment surprise from Pak Mohd Tony , he did send his representative from his office  , Pak Holick to accompany us as a tour guide for a shopping at Pasar Baru . He is also a very helpful young man and make our shopping day more happening especially to my wife and my sister . He did mentioned that  Pak Tony even  asked him to take good care of us . Thanks Pak Tony !

One incident to share , I lost my prepaid telco card in the van but they replaced it with free of charge . Another big thanks to him and this show that they are very committed and know how to handle and taking care of their client .

But anyhow there is something to be improve further and my tip to share :

1. Please save your driver handphone number since it is much easier to communicate with him  at any time due to whatever good or bad reason . Did send my whatsapp to Pak Tony on one occasion but no respond which I think he didn't recognise my Indonesian prepaid no's.
.
2. The transport is very clean with good air cond and tip top condition .

3. The driver and the shopping guide is the "BEST" ever experienced with Mbts Tour . WELL DONE .

4. Its would be better if I can meet Pak Tony in person or any " special  whatsapp " aired which represented him as a " courtesy call" or " personal touch "   .  My proposal , it much more better if  they can provide a complimentary mineral drinks daily as I experienced before with my previous transport agency .



As conclusion , I really satisfy with Mbtsholiday  and fully recommended for their services while you are holidaying in Bandung .

 Final Day :


A). Rumah Mode :


Only visit and window shopping at this place . No shopping done . At least my sister already come here which is one of the famous factory outlet for Malaysian . From my observation ,the price tag here is a little bit expensive compared to others FO in Bandung but being one of the biggest outlet with an attractive set up , its didn't failed to attract the shopholics especially from Malaysian .

B). Paris Van Java :

Walk around this shopping mall . One of the largest in Bandung . Have lunch at one of the fast food chain outlet over here .

C). Flight back to Malaysia .


Flight with Malindo Air to Kuala Lumpur KLIA2 , Malaysia  . From there , my sister and her family flight to Kuala Terengganu via AirAsia . And for me and my family , we flight back to Kuantan via MAS .


Alhamdulillah , we had safely arrived at our hometown . It is really enjoyed flying and holidaying together as one family , now we are looking forward to go for our another next destination . Any recommendation ?

Day 3 :


A). Pasar Baru :

Shopping day . We spends almost of 4 hours at Pasar Baru . The ladies really enjoyed shopping what's they had already planned since from Malaysia . We had our lunch and friday prayer at the Pasar Baru building . The shopping Mall with the integrated concept especially for muslim .

B). Tran Studio Bandung :

The special theme park for the kids and youngster . The entrance fee is Idr200k but if you buy from hotel or travel agent , you can get special discount of 10% . My observation on this place since my last visit a few year ago  , now a lot of games is under maintenance and no new games or attractions introduced , so as the science center . But it is really funs for the kids to enjoy it while in Bandung after following your hectic shopping day .

D). The Stone Cafe restaurant :

Have dinner at this restaurant for first time . One of the finest restaurant in Bandung . Situated at the highest point of Bandung city . In normal fine weather , you can see the beautiful and colorful Bandung city but in our case , the night is raining so we cannot see the city clearly . We really enjoyed our dinner whilst listening to the live band and feel a "natural aircond" of 20 degree C .

Day 2


A). Kawah Putih :

Another volcanic attraction in Bandung . Offer a different view from Tangkuban Perahu . A white scenic view , a little bit more cooler with strong sulphur smell . Advisable not to spend more than 30 min . Entrance fee is Idr50k , which is much more affordable . Not to miss while you are  in Bandung .

B). Saung Gawir  :

We have our lunch here . Enjoyed the Sudanese cooking . One of our favourite when we are in Bandung . Enjoyed our lunch with a great view and nice environment . Our price tag for lunch here Idr680K @ RM220

C).  Cibaduyut :


Famous for leathers products . Bought shoes , hand bags , wallets and belt . We just spends our time at the Cibaduyut Mall . If you have a lot of time , recommended to walk around the streets where you can find a lot of leathers products and can test your bargain skills . Gud luck !

This restaurant served you with Indonesian cuisine . One of the best dinner in Bandung . You can have a seat either ground or 1st floor for your meals . There are a life band entertained you while you have your wonderful dinner ... the rupiah that we pay is around Idr700K @ RM230

A). Tangkuban Perahu :

Surprise , the entrance fee is increase and very expensive , Idr300 per person ... RM90 .
My comment : Nice to visit for first timer . For next visit , Try to avoid  this place if you are in Bandung .

 B). Kopi Luwak factory:

Best educative experienced for the family for learning the process of kopi luwak , the most expensive coffee in the world  . You can buy the coffee at this place with good price .

c). Strawberry Land .

Another interesting place to visit . If you had been to Cameron Highland , it is similar environment but more cooler .

E). De Ranch

New attraction to visit . A lot of activity to offer ... most interesting is the horse riding and this is my first experienced in my life . Love the gardens and the green view .

F). Floating market :


New attraction for visit . Floating markets concept with the man made lake and beautiful landscape . You can find Indonesian foods with hawker concept .
