This is the last highlands that we going for holidays during this trip , the Cameron Highlands . So welcome , let's feel and appreciate the beauty of nature . We spends at this highlands for 3D2N . There are a lot of places of interest you can visit such as tea plantation , waterfalls & jungle walks , rose valley , butterfly farms , strawberry farms , vegetable farms , mossy forest .... mostly related to freshness and beauty of nature .
We stayed at Hotel De La ferns . It is just 3 min drive from Tanah Rata and a 5 min drive to Brinchang . This hotel is ideally located between Tanah Rata and the golf course of Cameron Highlands . Named after the leafy green plant , the hotel stands out on the highlands with its exquisitely designed English tudor structure offering an exotic ambience in a local environment . It is not very far from another English design tudor structure hotel , the Ole Smoke House . This hotel strategically located just beside the famous steamboats restaurant , The Glory 78 and the convenience shops where you can buy souvenirs , goodies etc ....
Among the activities that we explored :
1- driving up to Brinchang mountain ( 6,666 ft ) and exploring the Mossy forest ( Oldest forest )
2- visit Sungai Palas Boh Tea plantation and Bharat tea plantation at Tanah Rata , really enjoyed the hot
lemon grass tea and delicious brownies and scorne while watching the beautiful green scenery with a
pampering mild winds blowing after your face .
3- visit Mardi Technology center , where you can find that they grows grapes and apple !
4- have a dinner at The Glory 78 restaurant , one of the famous steamboats restaurant in Cameron Highlands.
In my opinion , Cameron Highlands really suitable for family outing and for the couple who wish to have their honeymoon or celebrate their anniversaries .
On our route to Cameron Highland , we follow North South PLUS highway , Simpang Pulai and follow Raub , Bentong route on our back to our hometown .
As a conclusion , this is the best holidays ever that we spends in this truly Malaysian domestic holiday with the concept of " Highlands " , ....to have a truly experience like us .... follow our schedule ! and plan your highlands holiday today !!
