Best satay in Cukai , Kemaman

One of famous food in Malaysia is satay . Satay  , is a dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce. Satay may consist of diced or sliced chicken, goat, mutton, beef,  fish and other meats . The more authentic version uses skewers from the midrib of the coconut palm frond, although bamboo skewers are often used. These are grilled or barbecued over a wood or charcoal fire, then served with various spicy seasonings.


Pok Nong SATAY is one of my favourite satay restaurant in Cukai . The location is at Batu 1 , Jalan Air Putih .  The taste is delicious and price is reasonable . You can dine here either indoor which is Aircond or outdoor for fresh air . The owner is my friend and ex neighbour . The satay can be order if you wish to have personal or company  functions or gatherings  . For me , I always made an order with him once a year especially for AidilFitri gatherings .

Mee Tarik at Mesra Mall , Kerteh

Mee Tarik Warisan Asli ... now at Mesra Mall , Kerteh . This restaurant apparently owned and run by chinese muslim from China and they bring along their culture and food here which is pretty famous and delicious . They have a lot of other outlets in peninsular of Malaysia . At Mee Tarik Warisan Asli , they make their mee fresh and 100% made by hand . It is really amazing to watch them making mee with their hand .

I have tried this noodles before at their chain outlet in Kuala Lumpur . The taste is marvellous and really suit me . So now I bring my family to try . Their feedback is good and love it . This bring us back the memories what we had ate during our holiday in Beijing and Shanghai previously . The flavour been modified to suit with asian people which is less salty .

Recommended to those who like to try real hand made chinese noodles . Beside that they also have rice menu such steam rice with beef or chicken .

Latest : 2016 . This restaurant already been relocated to Gong Limau , near District  Hospital .

Do you like to try a " shell-out " style dishes in Kemaman ? There is a small restaurant called  as Lorong Kaler , Bukit Mentuk  which served the menu . The foods is a mixture of seafoods such as crab and shell . Operating time start from 6 pm .

We had our dinner here for several occasions . The foods is nice and tasteful . The price tag is RM20 per person . Give a try and you will love it .

A legend kopitiam in Kemaman

Hai Peng Kopitiam , the real legend kopitiam in Kemaman .  Kemaman is a small town which have an easy and less stressful  life and it do have some many kopitiams .

Hai Peng ,most famous to the locals and tourist and it is must visit kopitiam while you are in Kemaman . You can feel a real multi racial Malaysian atmosphere over here where you can find , malay , chinese and indian enjoying sipping their homemade coffee . So enjoy yourself

We have a wonderful dinner at Dinnie Kopitiam , Kemaman . The place is a nice and cozy environment . We considered this restaurant as a new kid in the town since this is our first try at this restaurant after they take over from previous operator .

The foods is delicious with wide range of choices . You can try Thai foods , Malay and western dishes . You can try everything right from pulut mangga , cakes , cendul till the tastety pandan cocunut . The way of the foods presentation is owesome . Most important it is one of the cheapest restaurant in town . One of their specialities ..." ais krim pasu"  or " claypot ice cream " . Give a try and you will love it .

The best ikan patin and Baung restaurant at Kuala Terengganu

Nice , delicious and seasonable price Ikan Patin and Ikan Baung restaurant in Kuala Terengganu . This restaurant been appeared some many time in Television such as Terengganu Kita and Majalah Tiga .

You can find this restaurant   on the way to Jalan Kuala Berang and it is situated  at Kampung Wakaf Beruas which is near to my village , Kampung Merbau Patah .

Best Mee rebus at Plaza Angsana in Johor Bharu

The best mee rebus in Johor Bahru and also my favourite is Hj Wahid mee rebus . Originated by Wak Baidah in 1918 . Other than Plaza Angsana , this mee rebus also operate in total of 5 branches in JB ie Pasar Larkin , Taman Rinting , Taman Sri Tebrau , Pekan Rabu and A-Mart Kempas .

It had been establish for 20 years at Plaza Angsana . The price range  is between RM4 and RM4.50 per plate . The operating hours from 11 am to 10 pm daily .

So if you are in JB , please give a shoot , you will love it !!

Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur ... Zende Restaurant

Have breakfast and lunch at Zende Restaurant @ Seri Pacific Hotel . The ambient very nice and cosy . The food taste very good . We try traditional Malaysian wok , steam rice with fish head curry and nasi goreng kampung . Hmm ... yummy

The restaurant offered all kind of dishes either asian , western and also middle east  ... just give a try and you will love it !

Farewell lunch ... Bangkok Restaurant Kerteh

This is the special lunch organised for the farewell function to my Filipino staff due to his retirement by the age of 66 years old  but he still looks young ! . He already been with me since the year of  2003 . Goodbye Albert Masanganda and wish you all the best in your future undertaking and with your family in Filipines.

A little bit info on this restaurant . It is situated at Kerteh area , not very far from the McDonald fast foods outlet . They served more on Thailand cruisine . Just order for their tom yam and steam fish and you will love it ..

Sunway Putra Hotel Coffee House Restaurant

Stayed for 3D2N at this hotel  for business trip .  My favourite hotel , Premiera was full house so I have to booked this hotel as the alternative . It is a nice hotel with a nice restaurant too . This hotel located at the same building with Sunway Putra Mall ... but at this moment this mall is under major renovation and will be closed for 1 year inorder to rejuvenate and upgrade all the facilities to make this mall more happenings and attracts more peoples and clients .

Till todate the hotel give special promotions for the room guest , a discount of 50% if you have your dinner at this restaurant , duration ?? ... I supposed until the completion of revamping the mall ! So grab this opportunity , dining at one of finest restaurant in KL .
