Post orientation ... Johor Bahru... Tune Hotel Danga Bay

This was my 1st  visit to Johor Bahru  after my son's completed  his orientation week program  or " minggu silaratulrahim " . I bring him to stayed at Tune Hotel , Danga Bay for 3D2N inorder for him to have a good rest after his "busiest" orientation week . Somethimg good if you booked the hotel thru Agoda.com , its included with unlimited usage of TV, WIFI , toiletries and a tower or else you have to pay as per used , just like AirAsia concept , you have to pay for the add-on .

This hotel is well located at Danga Bay . Nearby area , there are a few other small hotels located , The Golden leaf Hotel , Kozi Hotel and The Zoom Boutique Inn hotel . There are a lot of eating places around its corner such as Sekinchan Ikan Bakar restaurant , Spice 7 restaurant , Chemek Kopitiam and Pizza restaurant . The restaurant have their owned specialties especially the Spice & , I really love the fish head  curry .  Besides the hotel itself just share with the same building with 7 eleven and a small indian restaurant . To me , this hotel will be my first choice if I come back to Johor Bahru again . It is cheap , comfortable and affordable .

From my observation due to that reason , most of the tourists  like to stay here if they want to have holidays in Singapore , visiting the USS and the Malaysian very owned LEGOLAND .

Hukum Puasa Di Bulan Ramadhan

Firman Allah S.W.T: “ Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, telah diwajibkan ke atas kamu berpuasa sebagaimana telah diwajibkan ke atas umat-umat yang sebelum kamu, semoga kamu menjadi orang-orang yang bertaqwa. “ – (Surah Al-Baqarah: 183)}}

Hadis Rasulullah s.a.w: Ditegaskan oleh Rasulullah s.a.w melalui sabdanya yang diriwayatkan oleh Ahmad, An- Nasa’i dan Al Baihaqi dari Abu Hurairah, yang bermaksud:

“Sesungguhnya telah datang kepada kamu bulan Ramadhan bulan yang penuh berkat. Allah telah fardhukan ke atas kamu berpuasa padanya. Sepanjang bulan Ramadhan itu dibuka segala pintu Syurga dan ditutup segala pintu neraka serta dibelenggu segala syaitan”

Lafaz niat puasa 

Tidak wajib dan tidak juga sunat berniat dalam bahasa Arab, memadai dalam bahasa Melayu atau apa-apa bahasa yang kita fahami. Tetapi baik dan berpahala jika diamalkan dalam bahasa Arab dengan niat kita cinta kepada bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. dan bahasa Al-Quran. 

Digalakkan berniat puasa untuk sebulan dengan sekali niat pada malam pertama Ramadhan bagi mengelakkan daripada tidak sah puasa kerana terlupa berniat pada malamnya, kita mengikut Imam Malik yang membolehkan berniat untuk sebulan sekali gus.

Namun begitu, jika puasa Ramadhan kita terputus oleh sesuatu sebab, seperti haidh, sakit atau lain-lain, maka niat puasa sebulan itu tidak lagi memadai untuk hari-hari puasa yang seterusnya, tetapi, hendaklah diperbaharui niat apabila tidak ada lagi perkara yang menghalang daripada puasa berturut-turut tersebut. Maksudnya, dengan memperbaharui niat sekali lagi bagi semua hari-hari puasa Ramadhan yang berbaki, iaitu niatnya:

“Sahaja aku berpuasa esok dan sehingga akhir Ramadhan ini kerana Allah Ta’ala”.

Waktu Berniat

Waktu berniat bermula daripada terbenam matahari, yakni masuk waktu sembahyang fardhu Maghrib hinggalah sebelum terbit fajar shadiq (waktu Subuh). Oleh itu, bolehlah dilakukan niat puasa pada mana-mana bahagian daripada waktu tersebut, walaupun semasa berbuka.

Colmar Tropicale ... a lush green gateaway

Colmar Tropicale Berjaya Hills resort is a French themed resort . It is situated in Bukit Tinggi , Pahang  . The hotel itself is 2,700 feet above sea level and rest upon 80 acres of verdant forest . The hotel borrows a distinctive design theme from the 16th century Colmar Village in Alsace , France and had maintained an authentic Eueopean feel since its inception . To add on they offer the Japanese Village , Botanical garden , animal parks , golf course and the some others activities such as jungle walk , canopy walk , just to name the few .

The above information make us plan for our families holiday as our school holiday gateaway . Included for holiday this time is my sister's family . We drove  for almost 3 hours to reached this place from Kemaman .  Once , we reached here we have to pay some fees for the entrance but it will be refundable if you are the hotel guest during the checkout . The check in time is 3 pm but if the roomis ready , they will let you in . But in our case , 1 room is ready and another room ready at 3 pm .At the mean time , we explore the resort and really appreciate the French themed design and the feeling of European ambiance . After that we rush to the train provided by the resort to explore the Japanese Village and the botanical garden which is located further up to the hill . The feeling is very peaceful with cool weather and the view of the green verdant forest . We really enjoyed our time with this beautiful places and really keep us together . We spends over there for almost 2 hours . Make sure , you spends your time in morning and noon up there coz normally late evening its start to rain and according to the workers it is normal at the highlands . But for another option , pls bring the umbrella .

Back to the resort , our kids then change their outfits to swimming gears for swimming . The water was very cool but they enjoyed it and it is a good experience , swimming at the highlands . They spends over there for 1/2  hours .

At night , the weather changed more cooler . Recommended to wear a sweater but not so thick coz the temperature still bearable  . We have pizza as our dinner . At 9:30 pm , we watched the acrobatics show and it is very interesting . After the shows , we spends some time chatting and talking to each other as seems that we are in France !  That night , we have very soundful and peacefully sleeps .

The next morning , we have our wonderful breakfast at the hotel , complimentary for 8 persons since we stayed at 2 nos of family room . After that we checkout and have a visit at the animal park before we proceed to our next agenda . Bye bye .........

Truly Malaysian holiday .... Preparation @ Introduction

School holiday comes again , this time the duration is for 2 weeks and it starts  from end of May until 1st week of June . I have a small discussion with my wife on planning  family holiday ,either to spends holiday abroad or in Malaysia . At first we want to go to abroad ie " Yogjakarta " ,  but without early preparation , and last minute buying the  flight ticket  , it will be on higher side . Try to confirm this by checking on the flight website and its true ... most of the flight fares are expensive  and so do the hotel rates .

After some further discussion , we finally come out with an idea..... to have domestic holiday or we call it "cuti - cuti  Malaysia " ... well , actually the tag line is " to love Malaysia , is to know Malaysia " . Further more there are a lot of interesting places in Malaysia , the islands , the beaches , the highlands and many more . Most of the places , we already explored but it was during our hey days where the kids still small . ..

We will spend our holiday for 5D4N ,  the places that we  will cover , Bukit Tinggi , Genting Highlands and Cameron Highlands . Below are our itenaries :

Day 1 : Colmar Tropicals - Berjaya Hills  at Bukit Tinggi , Pahang .
Day 2 : First World Hotel - Genting Highland Resort at Genting Highland , Pahang
Day 3 : Hotel De La Ferns at Tanah Rata , Cameron Highlands , Pahang.
Day 4 : Hotel De La Ferns at Tanah Rata , Cameron Highlands , Pahang.
Day 5 : Back to my home town .


So for this holiday concept , we mainly focus to  the 3 most popular  Malaysian highlands . Genting Highlands is really popular for its city of excitement and entertainment ,  where as Bukit Tinggi and Cameron Highland are popular with their nice green scenery and beautiful gardens but something in  common , all of them have very nice sceneries , cool weather and situated in Pahang .

Really looking forward for the holidays and Insyaallah , pray to Allah , everything are in good terms !
