New school holiday trip to Bandung ' 2015 .....

Well ,school holiday comes again ....

I think most of Malaysian now looking forward for having their holidays with their family either domestic   or going abroad . I'm  not really sure whether most of Malaysian prefer domestic or abroad nowadays since our ringgit very much lower compare to others currency .

For me and family , we still prefer abroad but our priority now more towards Asean country compared to US and Europe . Even though our  currency slightly lower but we are still affordable to spends our holiday there . The most important that our quality of time spending with family .

This is my fourth visit/holiday in Bandung . We will spend there for 5D4N . Bandung is still one of my favorite place for holiday in Indonesia . The currency changed RM 100 equivalent to Idr 292,00 - Idr 295,00 depend on where the money changer that you change the money .

This holiday considered as "get together relative " holiday since where my sister's family follow us also . This holiday also considered as our new experience , WHY ?/... see below ;
1. First ever my youngest sister and her family have abroad holiday together with me .
2. First flight using Malindo Airlines carrier .
3. First experience Booking Serela Cihampeles Hotel .
4. First time using using Mbtsholiday as our tour transportation and driver operator . Come to know him from the advertisement from my blog .

Insyaallah I will share this my new trip experience  to my blog readers once I come back from Bandung .

All the best IKM @ Johor Bahru

After 2 years , now it is the time for my son to say good bye to IKM@Johor Bahru . Went there last December to pick up my son for good . This time we stayed at Thistle Hotel , for info this is our 3rd time stayed at this hotel . One of the best hotel in JB .

Moving forward , my son will have his industrial training for next 6 months . After that he will further his study to the highest level following his parents foot step . Pray to Allah for his success and also to another 3 of my other kids .

We have a wonderful dinner at Dinnie Kopitiam , Kemaman . The place is a nice and cozy environment . We considered this restaurant as a new kid in the town since this is our first try at this restaurant after they take over from previous operator .

The foods is delicious with wide range of choices . You can try Thai foods , Malay and western dishes . You can try everything right from pulut mangga , cakes , cendul till the tastety pandan cocunut . The way of the foods presentation is owesome . Most important it is one of the cheapest restaurant in town . One of their specialities ..." ais krim pasu"  or " claypot ice cream " . Give a try and you will love it .

Sheraton Imperial Hotel ... another gateway@KL

Stayed here for 3D2N for family holiday in KL . I had been to this 5 star hotel before for my company function at the Italian restaurant which was located at rooftop of the hotel .

This hotel located in the golden triangle nestled within the capitals business and commercial district . It is also close vicinityof KL main attraction , and its minute away from the city's best shopping and dining . Just across the street is a new Quill City mall , a lifestyle haven with an exciting mix of shopping , dining and entertainment .

Everything in the hotel very nice , the wifi , comfortable bedroom , the hospitality of the front staff and the receptionist . Only things could be better if they have enough waiter/waitress for the restaurant since I have a bad experienced where they are very slow to clear my table during buffet lunch ....... Downsize ,  the room fridge contain  of alcohol drinks which is not suitable for muslim .

My recommendation booked for family package since it is included with  free wifi , parking and discounted foods and beverages .

Malacca a wonderful historical place for family holiday

Its had  been 4 years , I didn't bring my family for holidays at this top historical tourist state in Malaysia . Alhamdulillah , finally I have a chance spends my holiday for 4D3N at this wonderful place . Search on information whats' the latest attraction in Malacca . Yes , there is a new tallest building which called as The Shore a shopping mall , which the major tenants is Swiss Resort Hotel , Oceanarium and Tangs , and just beside of Kg Mortem , a traditional Malacca village .

Booked this hotel for a night since I plan is to visit oceanarium @ the shore  and Kg Mortem . The Oceanarium is newly open and is the biggest interactive indoor aquarium in Malaysia . You can see and learn a lot of ocean spices over here . Really a recommended place and a new jewel in town for Malacca. Other activities , we exploing the traditional Kg Mortem by walking . and I think you will love the houses design plus the hospitality of the owner . The Swiss hotel , it is nice , clean with a spacious swimming pool and gym , but they should warmth the swimming pool since it is really freezing cool .

For the rest of others night , we switch to Hatten Hotel . This hotel situated at Dataran Pahlawan which is very near to Malacca main tourist attraction like Taming Sari , Ancient historical building , A Famosa , river cruise jetty plus shopping complex where you can shops and dine . This hotel is huge and crowded with tourists , that why there are very strictly following their check in time at 3 pm . Their breakfast session also very crowded . But positively their location is at the centre of Malacca main attraction .

A lot of others activities you can do at Malacca . not only exploring their historical places but also you can enjoyed their famous foods such as asamm pedas , nyonya baba cooking and the seafoods at Umbai . Others main attractions , the night river cruise and  the sounds & lights show . Not to miss
the latest attraction the " budaya " shows .. Bahtera Merdeka , Warna Melaka and Melaka Alive ( www.melakaalive.com.my ) . Not to forget their legend and famous  " Day " and " night "...  Zoo Melaka

Botanic Garden @ Putrajaya

Actually Malaysia has a lot of wonderful gardens like another countries . Being a tropical country , Malaysia is full of greens . And this is my first time exploring one of the wonderful and biggest botanic garden which is situated at Putrajaya . To be specified , it is located on the northern section of precinct 1 . It has been designed as an arcadia for Malaysian living collection of plant taxonomy as well as a centre for education and research . Its offer a lot of facilities and services such as bicycle rides , camping , wedding grounds and many others , you can explore further by web through their homepage .

During my visit ,(  in the morning) , you can see families spend time together , jogging , cycling and camping . There was also people putting up tents , foods , table and chairs , I believe for the wedding ceremony to be held over there . According to my in law , there are also a cruise plus meals offered at the nearby lake and it is advisable to cruise at night since it is more beautiful with night colors . Most of our time during that day , strolling around by the lake , enjoy the freshness of the morning breeze and learned the scienctific name of the trees .Apart from that you can observed  a lot of government offices and prime minister official acomodation . Actually Putrajaya is the brainchild of our former great prime minister , Tun Mahathir .

Spend our time for almost 1.5 hours , will come back and would try the cruise by night one day !!!

Camp Super Aulad at Janda Baik

During last school holiday , I signed up 2 of my kids to attend camp super Aulad for 3D2N at Janda Baik which was organised by Telaga Biru Training . By attending this camp I hope they can be more motivated , confident , kindness and self respect to each other and finally upgrade their ibadah volunteerily .

Since our place is quite far from Janda Baik , we travel one day earlier and spend a night at 4 star , Cherangin Hill Resort . The resort is located on the top of the hill and have very nice view especially during the sun rise . The county site view is very great and  full of greens with a mountain as background plus nice cold weather . We really love the place . It has a large swimming pool which is the main attraction  for this resort . There are a lot of resort  at Janda Baik from no star to 4 star  and they have their own natural attraction , most of them located near the river stream which is the main attraction in Janda Baik . For meals , we have our dinner and breakfast at the resort restaurant . The food is nice and the price is reasonable . One thing for improvement , the resort should improve the hospitality of their staff and train on how to charge their customer . Pay attention on the restaurant bill , the girl will charged service/tax fee in which I complained , the foods supposed to be tax free ....  they apologize and refund it .

The Super Aulad camp was held at different resort . I forgot its name . And it is also a nice place and situated near the river stream . There are in total around 50 nos of participants from the age of 11 to 17 years old . The facilitators are very kind and friendly . They welcome the participants with the warmth open hands  and make the kids comfortable and feel like at home . BTW actually we already meet the facilitators one day before the program while we having  our lunch and they did recognised us ! This make my kids be more and more comfortable . We left the kids with a good advice to take care of them self during the course . Soon after that ,  we proceed to KL for our another agenda and will comeback and fetch them again next 2 days .


After  2 days . we went back to Janda Baik to fetch the kids . By the way , during their camp going on , the facilitators always update their activities with text and pictures thru whatsapp . Thanks for the effort , actually this is great ideas since we can follow up the programs like a "live telecast" ...... As parents , my wife and I feel very proud because my daughter been chosen as the best " Puteri " ie the most outstanding girl participates in the program . Congratulation to you , my dear !

At the camp site , we have a chance to know other participants , their parents and the facilitators . The time had come and now its time to say good bye to them . Nice to know you all and one day hope we will meet again . As for the kids , they really enjoyed the camp .... make a new friends .  To my opinion , this camp organised by Telaga Biru Training @ Janda Baik  is one of the best program and highly recommended to the parents in order to upgrade the kids to be more confident , instill the islamic culture and to be the best top form to face this challenging world .
