Registration Day ....Congratulation !!

Congratulation to my second son for the achievement of his enrolment to further his study in IKM Johor Bharu . As a parent , we feel  very proud of you . Hope you will study hard in this skill institute , try to achieved the flying colors and continue your study till Diploma and finally Degree .... insyaallah !

We went to JB for 3D2N for the registration and stayed at Hotel Granada . The hotel was not very far from the institute . During our travelling  to JB , the day was full of haze especially along the highway near Segamat and Yong Peng . The index was considered as not safe . Most of our time , we stayed at the hotel . The activity that we do , on the 2nd day , we try to find our way to IKM and visited Johor Premium Outlet ( JPO ).

On the 3rd day , it is the registration day . We check out from the hotel at 8 am , queit early in the morning  and directly proceed to IKM . The registration process runs very smoothly , Alhamdulillah  ! The program organised by IKM was very good , there was a special gathering for the parents and was given a special talk by his Director , En Sabaruddin  . The talk was very interesting , at least the parents know better about IKM JB ,  the courses that was offered , the expectation to both parties and the opportunities of the students either to work after graduation or to further their study .

Around 2 pm , we say good bye to our son with a fruitful advice , study hard , get the flying colors result , be a good discipline boy and finally pls always  remember ALLAH by performing his direction , solat etc .... Do consult us if you have any things to be clarify and looking for direction  . We wish you all the best !!  Amin !

5 ways to see Kuala Lumpur for free ............

a close up view of some building in Kuala Lumpur

another great view of Kuala Lumpur

Travelling on a tight budget can be restrictive to your holiday plans , but sometime the phrase ... " the best things in life are free "...  rings the true . Here are 5 ways to make the best of your stay in Kuala Lumpur at absolutely no cost !

1. Couch Surfing
While KL offers plenty of options for low budget accomodation , there ia another option getting hosted by locals . Everyone knows that there is no better way to see or learn about a place than from a native of the area . Coach Surfing is a world wide networks of travellers and host who are always ready to welcome you into their home for a stay . It gives travellers a chance to hook up with locals , and the hosts a chance to learn about the adventures of the travellers . Everyone makes a few new friends and best of all ... its free .

2. Visit the World's Tallest Twin Towers
The Petronas Twin Towers is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city and is one of the distinctive features of the city that stands its majectic 88 stories high . Walk through the streets surrounding the twin towers for some fantastic picture taking opportunities . The view are equally fabulous by day or night .

3. Check Out the Cultural and Historical Sites
One of the distinguishing features of Malaysia , the rich mix of cultures and traditions that come together seamlessly . The country sites are reminiscent of the multiracial heritage and its colonial past can be easily seen in the architecture of buildings . To experience this , simply take a walk past Merdeka Square towards Chinatown and Central Market to explore places and worship of different cultures like temples and mosque as well as grand colonial structure like the Sultan Abdul Samad building .

4. Get One with Nature
A short 10 min walk from Chinatown and Merdeka Square is Kuala Lumpur 's luscious Lake Garden Parks . The Lake Gardens is a fabulous way to experience the lush foliage of the tropics. blooming colourful flowers and waterfalls within city limits . Whether you choose to ride a bike through the parks or just sit on the bench , it's a great way to people-watch and enjoy your own piece of tropical paradise for free . The gardens are flanked by others attractions like the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park and the Islamic Art Museum .

5. Window Shopping
Kuala Lumpur is home to some of the best shopping in the world . While shopping is not exactly free , it doesn't cost you anything to look . If you have a couple of hours to kill ,check out one of the many malls within the city like Suria KLCCor Pavillion in Bukit Bintang for some quality window shopping . It's also great way to enjoy some cool air conditioning while avoiding the sweltering tropical heat outside .

Sunway Putra Hotel Coffee House Restaurant

Stayed for 3D2N at this hotel  for business trip .  My favourite hotel , Premiera was full house so I have to booked this hotel as the alternative . It is a nice hotel with a nice restaurant too . This hotel located at the same building with Sunway Putra Mall ... but at this moment this mall is under major renovation and will be closed for 1 year inorder to rejuvenate and upgrade all the facilities to make this mall more happenings and attracts more peoples and clients .

Till todate the hotel give special promotions for the room guest , a discount of 50% if you have your dinner at this restaurant , duration ?? ... I supposed until the completion of revamping the mall ! So grab this opportunity , dining at one of finest restaurant in KL .
