Day 5 : Bali -- Jakarta --- KLIA
Today is our final day in Bali . Our flight scheduled will be at 1:40 noon to Jakarta , transits for 2 hours then flight back to Malaysia with Garuda Airlines .
After completed packing our luggage , at 8 am we walked towards the Kuta beach for final call . Last 2 days , we already been there but during night time . Today we would like to see the beach during day time . Since it is still early in the morning , there are not so many people . To my opinion , Padang Padang beach much more whiter and sandy compared to this Kuta beach . But Kuta beach is much more long stretchful beach and very good for water activity , surfing , swimming and sunbathing . We really enjoyed walking along the beach and take a dip and swimming in the water for a while .
At 10:00 am , we check out from the hotel . Pak Agong took us to the airport for our next flight to Jakarta . For info , we have to pay IDr 40,000 per pax for Bali airport tax and next for another Idr 150,000 per pax for the Jakarta airport tax before you left the airport to KLIA , Malaysia , so please make sure you have enough money to pay . Our total travelling time , from Bali to Malaysia is 5 hours including transit , which is additional 2 hours compared to direct flight either by AirAsia or MAS . For me , I have a wonderful experienced with Garuda Airlines and I give a thumb up for the foods they served , congratulation to be no. 2 among the best inflight foods cabin Award .
My conclusion on Bali :
1. Bali really have a breathtaking scenery .. the beautiful beach , the sunset and the mountains . Suitable for
the honeymoonoers and beach @ water lovers .
2. It is an island with thousands of temple .
3. The art and traditional of Bali very unique .
4. Most of the fast foods chains provide halal foods .
5. The most expensive town compared to Jakarta and Bandung ,so less attractive for Malaysian for shopping
6. Most of the tourist come here from Australia . Choose off peak season to avoid "price" hype up . Refer
to Tripadvisor website for details .
7. To visit interesting places in Bali means you have to pay more Idr for the entrance fee . So here is my recommended for the must visit area inorder to save some money..., the area are , Padang padang beach , Uluwatu , Tasik Beratan , Tanah lot , Kintamani and Tampaksiring . The dance ... the one and only the Kecak dance . ( Uluwatu )
8 . Beware of " scratch and win " program ... famous activity in Bali !
We touched down at KLIA at 8 pm . Then we wait for our transport to Youniq hotel for 1 night stay transit . The next morning we took a flight back from KLIA to Kuantan airport .
