Trip to Bali : Day 2

Day 2  :  KLIA - Jakarta  - Bali

Check out from the hotel  at 6:30 am . We heading  straight to the departure hall without having any breakfast . Our flight schedule to depart to Jakarta  at 8:05 am so we plan to have our breakfast in the flight . We have a smooth check in , our flight to Jakarta will took us for 2 hours and then transit for next 2 hours before proceed to the next flight to Bali . This is my first experienced with Garuda , from my opinion , the inflight foods is the best , the steward and stewardess served you first the drinks before flight take off  ( which normally applicable for business class in MAS and other operators ) then directly served the foods after a few minute took off .... but my compliment to  MAS , they are very good in greeting " Selamat Datang " or " Welcome aboard " ..once you walk in the plane . The rest of the story , flight to Jakarta , transit at the airport then flight again to Bali .

We arrived at Bali airport at 2:15 pm . At the airport , pak supir already waiting for us at the arrival gate with a big name card of my name . Then we walked towards him , introduced ourself  . He  greet us and said " Welcome to Bali .. the land of paradise " . By the way , his name is Pak Agong Trio , a muslim ,who father is Balinese ( convert to Muslim ) and mother is Javanese . Very nice  and friendly , 30 years old guy , married with 2 years old boy . Since Pak Isme is busy with another client so he asked Pak Agong to served us during our days in Bali  . Actually , he is a driver but not a tourist guide ! So don't expect him to guide and tour you like a tourist guide . Anyhow he is knowledgeable on the interesting places for visit and the history behind . Its is recommended before you arrived , have some researched through website tripadvisor and other blogger who already visited to Bali , then make a proper itenary as your guidance when you are in Bali to be follow .  I will show his photo and his contact no later ....if you interested to get his service .

After that , we went to check in at The Flora Kuta Bali Hotel . It is 3 star budgetary hotel and recommended for muslim, since it has halal restaurant and 5 min walking distant to Kuta Beach , Kuta Square , shops and eating places . We performed our solat first before proceed to our first  trip agenda in Bali .

Today our trip itenaries :
- Visit to Padang Padang beach . This beach is really beautiful with white and sandy prestine beach . There are a lot of peoples swimming , sunbathing and surfing at the blue sea water . We spend 20 minutes of our time enjoying the view over there . The climate in Bali is hot with a full sunny day , really suitable for water activity .

- Next , visit to Uluwatu . It is around 30 min drive from Kuta . At this place you can see a beautiful cliff , beautiful sunset ,kecak dance and ofcourse the temple . Bali is famous as the land with a thousands temples . Eventhough Indonesia is the largest muslim country in Asia but in Bali , they only represent  10% and the rest is Hindu . The entrance fee to the place is Idr 20,000 per pax and for kecak dance is Idr 70,000 per pax . For info the dance took place at 6:00 pm and the duration is 1 hours . Very nice and interesting dance with a story line of the old epic Ramayana ,,, pls google "kecak dance " for details . Another most interesting view not to be miss , is the awesome view of the cliff and the sunset , never been in my life , I saw this beautiful and awesome sceneries ! Subhanaallah !

- After Kecak dance  at Uluwatu  , we went to Jimbaran for our seafoods dinner . We choose fish , squid and prawns as our dishes . It comes with drinks , rice and vegetables . Total cost for the dinner Idr 674,000 quiet expensive ... dinner for two ! But to my opinion , it is not the price of the seafoods that pricey ... but the environment , the exclusive romantic candle light dinner , on the beach , the balinese dance , beautiful sunset ( recommended if you have dinner at 6:30 pm ) and view of plane landing in and taking off  ( near to the airport ) . Really suitable for the honeymooners !

After dinner , we went to Krisna shopping center to buy slippers , for our beach usage . The price over here is fixed price and reasonable . According to Pak Agong , this center belong to government , they built it special for tourist with a reasonable and fixed market price ,  where if you buy from open market , you tends to pay high price if you don't know how to bargain . Important rule , in open market please bargain for discount  more than 50 %  to 70 % .


Finally , we went back to our hotel for a good night sleep .......... end of day 1 in Bali !
