First World Resort , Genting Highland .... theme park on the sky !

Resort World Genting (RWG ) is another theme park attraction in Malaysia . It is under same brands with Resort World Sentosa (RWS ) in Singapore but RWG famous of his tagline " Fun at the peak " ie it is situated at the highland whereas RWS on the island . The weather is more cooler over here and during night time it may drop to 15 degree C which make me remember of Everland in South Korea You feel more comfortable and enjoyed the rides and attractions available at this theme parks with this kind of weather . By the way , the theme parks was divided into 2 , Genting outdoor theme park and First world indoor theme park . They comes with children rides , family rides and thrill rides . But the outdoor thrill rides are the one which really test your adrenalin . Among others signature attractions are sky venture , flying coaster , Genting skyway and Snowworld .

I booked club world room for 2D1N stayed at the First World hotel . From my opinion this is the best hotel at Genting Highland . Since it is school holiday , there are so many guest and visitors either staying at the hotel or at the theme park . It is really recommended to buy the express pass or else you will wastng your time Q for the rides . Unfortunately . I bought the ticket from internet which is cannot be add on for the express pass ! Really hope they do something on it for improvement !

The rest of the days , we really enjoyed the rides ( eventhough it is not all been covered due to long Q ) , watching the shows at times square and have a chance experiencing the snow world . Something to share , the real snow from my previous experienced visiting countries with 4 weathers , is not as cold as this place . We only managed to stay for 10 min at this attractions then we went out ... we just cannot stand the temperature .... they really push the temp to the negative limit inorder to create the snow !

There are a lot of eating places offer over here but it is a little bit pricy . For muslim there are plenty of choices , just look for halal sign , order and have your meals .

Resort World Genting ( RWG ) teams up with Twentieth Century Fox to revamp outdoor theme park . They will add 1,300 rooms at the resort with attractions to include a " Dream Parade " - a one-of-a-kind animatronics parade based on all the characters featured at the theme park - Ice Age , Alien , Predator , Life of Pi , Rio - which expected to spend at least RM 3bil over next five years .
The theme park , to be developed on a 10,12ha plot, will feature more than 25 rides and attractions, from media-based rides, thrill rides and dark rides to children's and water rides . The Genting outdoor theme park will be closed from Sept 1 this year to facilitate the construction of the theme park . The projected soft opening is scheduled for 2016
