Winter trip to Beijing and Shanghai Day 6

Day 6  :   Shanghai


Today , our tourist guide , Mrs Mary give us plenty of time to have more rest since we arrived our hotel quiet late last night . . We start our day at 9 am after taking our vegetarian breakfast at the hotel restaurant .

Shanghai is really a big city with a lot of new and modern high rise building . This is the most sosphiticated and fashionable city in China . Their building  had  differrent mixed of  design between the british colonial and a modernization architecture . The cost of living in this city also the most expensive . So you can see most of Shanghainians very workoholics inorder to support their life .

During winter , the weather is not as extreme as Beijing . It is around 5 to 10 Degree C only . That why at Shanghai , you can see the tree still with the leaves and the gardens full of colourful flowers . The view of the Shanghai city is very beautiful and clean , especially at the Bund . The most beautiful and breathtaking scenery  is during night time by taking the Huangpau river cruise . This is something not to be missed when you are in Shanghai .





Today activities :

1. Visit People Square . We were  given 1 hour spending our time over here . We have the opportunity having a group photo and enjoying the beautiful garden .

2. Visiting the Pearl Shop and The Bund . It is recommended to buy the pearl at this shop since the price is reasonable and the sales assistant much more professional compared to those in Beijing . This shop situated near to the famous The bund in Shanghai . What's so special , this is the place where you can see the Huangpu river with the background of the high rise and modern building in Shanghai .

3. Lunch at the muslim restaurant .
4. Pray at Fuyou Mosque . This is place where you can find  mosque special for women .
5. Shopping at the Chenghuang Temple market or known as Shanghai Chinatown . It is almost similar with our Petaling Street .
6. Afternoon  , visit Nanjing Road East . This is the most fashionable streets with a lot of high end shopping complex .
7. Dinner at the  muslim restaurant .
8. Evening , have a night cruise at the Huangpau River . This is something that you cannot forget in your lifetime  , especially the breathtaking colorful view of the building  during the cruise .
