Welcome to UiTM and the affordable hotel to stay in Shah Alam

For past few years while business trip or  holidaying in Shah Alam , I had experienced stayed at  Concorde Hotel , Grand Blue Wave Hotel , Intekma Hotel and De Palma Hotel . From the list , Concorde Hotel is the best  in category of 5 star hotel .

Now , I coming back to Shah Alam again but this time due to my eldest doing his Degree for the next 3 years at Uitm . Congratulation my son ! For info , I also had been studied here previously for my Diploma and Degree in Engineering . And its had been almost 28 years I left the college . Before this,  the college known as ITM and now it had been upgrade to University . Its really like a memory lane for me . I feel proud that my son followed my footstep . BTW a lot of things been changed in Shah Alam interm of infrastructure and many others . Also the UiTM campus , there are more faculties and building inside their compound .

proud mama with her son

UiTM

Near the Perindu Hostel ... my previous hostel tooo

Now I would like to share the hotel that I stayed while in Shah Alam recently , Hotel de Art and Alami Garden Hotel . The hotel under budgetary and affordable hotel .

1. Hotel de Art

Love this hotel . The location at sect 7 , proximity near to Icity , parks , Giant  and numberous of eating places . It is also closed by to 2nd gate entrance to Uitm . The room design really wonderful plus 3D drawing at the wall and known as art-themed hotel .  Recommended  for those who like to go to Icity and visit son/daughter at UiTM .

2. Alami Garden Hotel .

Situated at sect 13 . Closed by Shah Alam Aquatic centre , Kelab Shah Alam and Stadium Malawati . It is also closed by to TESCO and new opening soon . Aeon Shopping Mall .  But it is a distant away to UiTM compared to Hotel de Art.  From my experience , beware for those early comer , the hotel  are good in follow their  policy , their check in time STRICTLY at 2 pm , but they do help you to keep your luggage for safekeeping before the check in time .

IMKK by Dr Azizan Osman

Its all started with my lovely wife recommendation . She attends the half day clinic which was held at Gambang resort , which sponsored by her friend . When she came back , she looks really motivated and had registered me for the IMKK program which will be held at IDCC , Shah Alam for 4 days program .

At first I feel quite reluctant but as she keep on persuading me to attend , finally I agreed .... well its nothing to loose , at least I got some good knowledge from that .

Before I attend the 4 days clinic better for me to  " google " who is Dr Azizan Osman ...the find out ,  there are some negative and positive comments/perspective on him .... the worse comment was some cursed him as a liar . From my further researched , actually there are a lot of positive perspective about him with the living testimonials  ... he leads and coach  the entrepreneur to be a millionaire ..

So I made decision to attend the half day clinic with my son , as my "eye - opener " . The day had come , as a late comer , the program had started . I heard a loud music with people saying something and applauded . I said what the hell happening , I listen , listen and listen  .........  and  the outcome really tremendous !! And my heart say this is the program that I want . Insyaallah when the IMKK clinic started , I will be early by 5 min rather than late by 5 min .

Alhamdulillah , the IMKK program which held at IDCC , Oct'15 , had been completed  . This is the last IMKK clinic held for 4 days , after this it will be shortened for 3 days but Dr Azizan promised the quality of the contents will more than  at par and perhaps  will getting better and better  , .

Insyaallah , with the knowledge plus my experienced , I have already  some ideas what to achieved , but the ideas will be visualised if you implemented it soonest , since Fast action will give Fast result ! Do pray for my success , Aamiin

Conclusion :

1. Worth for money .
2. The outcome , You feel you are different people , full of positive spirit , motivation and enthusiasm .
3.  A lot of positive words .... SWITCH ! FAST ACTION FAST RESULT ! YES , YES , YES !.... a lot more . Gather and meet with positive peoples . Learned from  the successful entrepreneur , life from stage
4. First program ever in my life which stress for both " Dunia " and " akhirat " .... Power of money , Power of smile . Power of solat , Poer of Doa , Power of marketing ... etc .
5. Highly recommended to all either you are in category of active income , semi-active income or passive income .
6. The clinic is more on coaching and its yourself will make it happened ! It is not multi level marketing !
7. There will be further clinic for IMKK and also others program recommended by Dr Azizan and you can choose which suits you , those who interested can web thru     www.azizanosman.com .
8. If the clinic held at IDCC , Shah Alam , I would like to recommend those from outstation can booked and stay at Pegasus Inn (   www.pegasusinn.com.my   )   or Pegasus Hotel .
9. Highly Recommended course/training/clinic

1st klinik in Kuantan ....  get to know Dr Azizan Osman

sweet moments ..........with some of the successful icons

IMKK at IDCC , Shah Alam  , the real impact ! .... featuring among others , Fizo Omor

Mini Zoo in Kemaman

Mini Zoo Kemaman

inside the Zoo

"Regardless if you have kids or travelling in a couple, Kemaman Zoo should be in your list of visit if you're touring in Kemaman. The zoo is open everyday from 9 am to 5 pm. The zoo requires you to pay a minimum fee of RM10 for adults and RM7 for kids. If you are visiting in a group, then the price for the tickets would be cheaper. Even though it is claimed to be a mini zoo, but the space of the compound is very large and homed to many variety of animals comprising largely of birds, elephants, tigers, orang utan, crocodiles, tapirs and some local river fishes. The zoo also has a swimming pool and a commuting zoo bus that takes you from the main gate to the zoo center. There is a banner about cruising down Yak Yah river on a boat for fireflies spotting, but since we weren't planning on cruising, so we didn't ask much. If you are interested in the boat ride, you could enquire at the information counter. In my opinion, the downfall of the zoo is the lack of signage to get there, we had to ask around for directions from the locals since there were no signboards directing us to the main road to get there. There is also no eating place inside the zoo, but there is a small mart inside. It is best to come here with a stomach full or prepare for a picnic in the zoo since you are required to walk a little to get a complete tour of the place. Overall, the zoo is a very interesting pit stop especially if you're into nature ."

Note : Above is the  comment from Ejoe C in the TripAdvisor Review .

Observation , comment and way forward :

Fyi this is my 3rd visit to this Zoo . First time visit during the official opening for last few year . At that moment there are full of  crowds . We fell very excited since this is the first Zoo in Terengganu and Kemaman been honored as the selected district for the zoo location  . During that time , the main crowd puller is riding the elephant . There are still some construction undergoing and what I heard they are building a water park inside the Zoo .
My second visit was when the tiger and lion introduced at the Zoo . Some of  the water park open to the public .
During my  third visit , I feel quite sad and disappointed , where there are not much things left at the Zoo . There are no more elephant riding , no more lion  and some of the animals cage was empty . The water parks look tired and even the water sliding roller coaster was damaged . The water looks like full of algae . But thumb up for newly introduced , the cruising down Yak Yah river on the boat for fireflies spotting .

1. There are a lot of potentials for this mini Zoo to be potray as the  tagline " The mini zoo under Wishlist/ Visit list  while you are in East Coast of Malaysia " .
2. You have to have the right people ie right management with the right knowledge how to run the Zoo .... as we know , it is not cheap $$$ to run the Zoo,  but the investment $$$ been made , so let don't waste the money .
3. Learned from the successful Zoo operators eg Malacca Zoo , Taiping Zoo ..etc
4. Maintenance , maintenance , maintenance  and maintenance ... without proper and schedule maintenance , things will be neglected and wait for its doomsday .
5. Add more activities and attractions  at the zoo compund ,eg... a "night or sleeping" with animal  , jungle trekking , flying fox etc ,,
6. Aggressive Marketing , marketing and marketing .....   Key of success for any kind of business ! Good marketing means more people means more $$$ means ............ an awesome Zoo .

Maal Hijrah 1437H .... Awal Muharram

The Hijri New Year, also known as Islamic New Year (Arabicرأس السنة الهجرية‎ Raʼs as-Sanah al-HijrÄ«yah) is the day that marks the beginning of a new Islamic calendar year, and is the day on which the year count is incremented. The first day of the year is observed on the first day of Muharram, the first month in the Islamic calendar. The first Islamic year begins in 622 AD with the emigration of Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina, known as the Hijra. All religious duties, such as prayerfasting in the month of Ramadan, and pilgrimage, and the dates of significant events, such as celebration of holy nights and festivals, are calculated according to the lunar calendar.

Mitsui Outlet park KLIA

Been to this outlet after pick up my wife from the KLIA where she arrived from her 14 days trip in Europe during last school holidays .

Compared to JB Premium Outlet which is an open concept or outdoor ,  this outlet is more on indoor concept where you can shops in nice cool aircond environment which is much more suitable for the Malaysian climate .

During our visit there are still not many shops opened . From the information given , they will be fully 100% operating by this coming Sept'15 .

Another shopping heaven in Malaysia , with the weak of ringgit value compared to Dollars , this will be a must visit for the foreigner tourist to shops here .... as tagline : shops until you drops !

Interesting facts on this outlet :

1. It's going to be huge malls that cover 25,000 square metres of retails space which house around 140 outlets when fully launched . Phase 2 will be completed in 2018 while final phase is scheduled for 2021 .
2. Mitsui Outlet park KLIA will be the first branch in Southeast Asia .
3. The mall will have 4 concepts ; Sunshine Square ( luxury street lit by skylights) , Pier Walk ( a chic esplanade ambiance ) , Tropical Plaza ( a greenery-filled avenue ) and Beach Walk ( a breezy simulation of the beach .
4. There will also be flight SITA check in kiosk services and a free baggage storage service .

School holiday trip to Bandung 2015 .... Mbtsholiday

This is my first experienced using services from Mbtsholiday in Bandung . Its all started with an advertisement in one of my previous blog posting about our holiday in Bandung . Contact the company focal  person Mohd Tony via Email regarding the quotation for their transport and driver . He quote me the price , a Suzuki Elf that can cater for 12 persons and a driver to suit my requirement for 5D4N . Negotiate the price for some discount  and  finally we agreed on the final price , with a promise of promoting his company ... so here we are !

Touch down in Bandung , our driver from Mbtsholiday , Pak Adri patiently awaiting us due to our flight re-time . He greet us with big smile and warm welcome . 1st impression , he is nice guy and very polite . And that's true ,  through out his service , he is very friendly and helpful plus treat you very well with his good ethical driver and act as unofficial tour guide .

A compliment surprise from Pak Mohd Tony , he did send his representative from his office  , Pak Holick to accompany us as a tour guide for a shopping at Pasar Baru . He is also a very helpful young man and make our shopping day more happening especially to my wife and my sister . He did mentioned that  Pak Tony even  asked him to take good care of us . Thanks Pak Tony !

One incident to share , I lost my prepaid telco card in the van but they replaced it with free of charge . Another big thanks to him and this show that they are very committed and know how to handle and taking care of their client .

But anyhow there is something to be improve further and my tip to share :

1. Please save your driver handphone number since it is much easier to communicate with him  at any time due to whatever good or bad reason . Did send my whatsapp to Pak Tony on one occasion but no respond which I think he didn't recognise my Indonesian prepaid no's.
.
2. The transport is very clean with good air cond and tip top condition .

3. The driver and the shopping guide is the "BEST" ever experienced with Mbts Tour . WELL DONE .

4. Its would be better if I can meet Pak Tony in person or any " special  whatsapp " aired which represented him as a " courtesy call" or " personal touch "   .  My proposal , it much more better if  they can provide a complimentary mineral drinks daily as I experienced before with my previous transport agency .

As conclusion , I really satisfy with Mbtsholiday  and fully recommended for their services while you are holidaying in Bandung .
